Graduation-Circle Island Tour

So Last December I graduated! Well it was more of a hollow graduation since I still have one more semester, but the end is in sight!

It was really cool to have President Erying come and speak to us. He spoke mostly about how to keep on learning in whatever we decide to do after our formal education. It was really cool to meet him and be able to shake his hand!
The rest of these pictures are just of the few poses and backgrounds that we took after the ceremony. Lets just say that it is a well documented experience!

After I was finally able to change out of my gown we went down to the best place on Oahu...Cheesecake Factory. We had quite the feast and afterward we walked along waikiki beach

Sunday morning we started off by attending church and then headed up the North Shore. We first went to Matsamodos, which I have a strong suspension is the only reason Dad came to Hawaii.
After making Dad's whole vacation we made mine, we ate lunch at Haleiwa Eats (thai food). At first they were unsure about it
But soon they warmed up to the new food and silverware. Although I'm guessing it was a one time experience for them.
After lunch I wanted to take them up to Kaena Point and do a little hike up to an absolutely beautiful overlook of all of North Shore, but like a lot of things in Hawaii the trail was reclaimed by nature
When we couldn't find the trail we decieded to hit the beautiful beach that was right there. Kaena Point has some of the most beautiful beaches on North Shore, plus it is really secluded so you don't have to deal with all the tourists
After the beach I took my parents to Kava Roots to get an acai bowel. And just for you mom, you pronounce it A-sigh-ee
We finished our Sunday off by visiting the temple and the visitor center

Monday morning we woke up and had to say goodbye to the smelly Laie Inn and headed off to catch our plane to Kauai
I had to put these pictures in because they are the reason we almost didn't make it to Kauai. My mom wanted to visit Kailua Beach for memories sake. When she came out to Hawaii to help Alicia with Hailey she spent a lot of time walking these shores. We almost didn't make our flight, but we got to see the beach and she even got some sand to take home. These 3 days were very busy and it was only the beginning of a very fun and long vacation!
The trip to Kauai is coming up!

Wait a second...I just read through your post again & realized that not only did you guys buy your acai bowls on Sunday, but you went to Matsamotos & Haleiwa Eats to top it off. I am so ashamed right now!
